Explosia a.s. is a business and production company focusing primarily on the production of explosives and the services related to the applications of the energetic materials for civil and military use. Explosia a.s. has acces to classified information up to the category “Restricted” according to Article 20 of Act No. 412/2005 Coll. on protection of classified information.

The company was established in 1920 and it has been operated in various business forms and associations – from a joint stock company through a plant within larger company units back to an independently-operating company from 1st June 2002. Explosia a.s. has an important position in the area of explosives and ammunition on the Czech market, but it is also an eminent exporter, especially into EU countries.

The company Explosia a.s., based in Pardubice, Semtín 107, Post Code 530 02, ID No.: 252 91 581, is a successor organisation which got, as a result of a merger, the assets of the terminated company FOSPOL a.s. based in Pardubice, Zelené Předměstí, Češkova 1758, Post Code 530 02, ID No.: 150 53 628, registered in the Commercial Register of the Regional Court in Hradec Králové, section B, insert 2277, registered on 1st January 2013.
